I believe when life gives you a platform, you use it to do good. Soccer gave me that platform. That’s why I created Kick It Forward, a nonprofit built to expand access to the game and challenge the status quo. We bring soccer into schools, parks, and neighborhoods where kids already live and learn, and we spotlight high school athletes who are leading the right way. At Kick it Forward, we don’t just join the youth soccer march. We build initiatives that challenge the way access to the game works.
Since 2012, Kick It Forward has been helping kids discover what's possible through soccer. With more than 50 mini-pitches built across Iowa and beyond, we’re creating spaces where kids can kick a ball, connect with friends, and feel part of something bigger. Through free clinics, community events, and a growing media platform that highlights high school players, we’re helping kids see what’s possible — both on and off the field. At the end of the day, it’s about giving young athletes the opportunities to play, grow, and be seen.
Whether it’s donating, sponsoring a pitch, volunteering, or joining the KIF Supporters Club, there are plenty of ways to get involved. Every contribution helps us create more spaces for kids to play, grow, and find community through soccer.
